Williamina was called William until she had a litter of kittens. One of these, known as The Master’s Cat, used to put out Dicken’s candle with its paw.
Most of us are aware of the Italian composer Domenico Scarlatti. Mostly, his cat used to jump on his keyboard and stroll along with the keys. And, this made Scarlatti compose “The Cat’s Fugue”
Another interesting fact about Abraham Lincoln and his cat Tabby. Tabby was one of the White House cats. Other examples include J.F. Kennedy’s Tom Kitten, Ronald Reagan’s Cleo and Sara and Bill Clinton’s Socks.

Do we all know that Luath, a Newfoundland dog, was the model for Nana in Barrie’s book Peter Pan? Yes, this dog posed as a model for the famous tale Peter Pan.
Another interesting thing is about a book called “Flush: A Biography”. Here, this book looks at the world from the dog’s point of view.
Next is Bobby – a Skype terrier who faithfully guarded his master’s grave at Greyfriars for fourteen years. As a result, the true story of the devoted dog has been the subject of books and films.
American Cartoonist Charles Schulz based his comic character Snoopy on his family’s Basset hound Spike. Through this, in later strips, a dog called Spike appears as Snoopy’s brother.
