Well, What is friendship for you?

Friendship is precisely not loving, Raj. It is complicated. F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P is 10 letter word. So is ‘Dependable’. So is ‘Reliable’. So is ‘Supportive’. And wait a minute, So is ‘D.I.S.A.P.P.O.I.N.T’!

You find yourself doing things. You never thought you would do. They say that having one true friend is better than having hundreds of false friends. But the question is, Where are we supposed to look for that ‘true friend’?

How do you choose your friend circle?

I think the kind of friends you have says a lot about the kind of person you are. We all want to be the kind of people who deserve good friends. But how do we choose our kind of tribe? Because Life has no GPS. So, your only options are either instinct or taking a gamble. All you can do is choose and hope there isn’t a devil in disguise waiting for you.

Definition of Friendship 

I am not sure about your definition of friendship. As for me, I’ve made a lot of bad decisions, some bad choices when it comes to friendship. Being a child we perceive friendship as a group of people with whom we can have fun with. Being teenagers, we need friends on whom we can rely on. Being adults, we know that we’re supposed to be friends with only the ones on whom we can trust blindly. Cause in today’s world, some people are friends until their hidden motives are completed. Some need friendship in order to fit in this world. Everybody has their own meaning of friendship and it’s difficult to know if you fit in their criteria. But I know that if an old friend needs me, or is in danger, or anything if there’s anything I can do to help them, I will. Even when it’s not clear what that is. Cause it’s never wrong to care about your friends. It’s never wrong to be a human being and love someone as well as you can. Cause like love, Friendship is unconditional too. You try and maintain it regardless of the zero amount of effort from the other side. The secret of a good friendship is you try and try until everything is resolved. After all, they’re the family you choose!
